Alfred Browning Parker (1916-2011) was a well- known Midcentury modern architect. Wallace Groves commissioned Parker to design many of Grand Bahama’s first commercial buildings including the first airport terminal, the Freeport School (currently St. Paul’s School), the Caravel Club, Barclays Bank, the original Grand Bahama Port Authority office building and several private residences.
