1928-2004
Edward St. George (1928-2004) was born in Malta and educated in England. He was an attorney, international businessman, racehorse owner and philanthropist. From 1956 – 1960 St. George served as Chief Magistrate in Nassau, Bahamas. He returned to the Bahamas in 1967 to set up a legal practice in Freeport, Grand Bahama where he represented Sir Charles Hayward, a principal shareholder in the Grand Bahama Port Authority.
